Who is this supplement for?
Super Regular can be taken by anyone who experiences PMS or PMDD symptoms.
Whether you're looking to ease mood swings, reduce breast tenderness, feel less anxious, boost sleep quality and energy levels, or improve overall wellbeing, Super Regular is perfect for you.
If you're breastfeeding, being treated for any medical condition, or taking medication, please consult your GP before adding Super Regular to your diet. Not suitable for people who are pregnant.
What can I expect from taking it?
Some ingredients will have an instant effect on mood, energy, sleep, and gut health. Other ingredients take approximately two to three months to take effect.
This is because many nutrients need time to build up in the body before they can do a particular job.
Therefore, we recommend taking Super Regular consistently for three months before assessing the full effect it has for you.
What if i’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
We recommend that breastfeeding women speak to their GP before adding Super Regular to their diet. It is not suitable for people who are pregnant as evening primrose oil can cause the cervix to soften.
What about hormonal contraception?
Nope. When we designed Super Regular we ensured that it wouldn't interfere with your natural cycle or hormonal contraception. It doesn't change hormone levels or the nature of your cycle.
Instead, it combats the negative, knock-on effects caused by fluctuating hormones. Super Regular is hormone-free.
I have a pre-existing medical condition
If you are taking medication, or have a pre-existing medical condition, please consult your GP before adding Super Regular to your diet.
How does the subscription work?
Regardless of your subscription type, you will receive 30 days worth of supplements each month.
The 'frequency' of your subscription impacts the billing cycle, not delivery.
If you have chosen a monthly subscription, you will be billed every month. If you have chosen a three-month subscription, you will be billed once every three months.
Why did you call it Super Regular?
Deeper meanings
The invention of tampons was a huge leap in the way the world acknowledges and caters for women’s health. But, along with this revelation came labelling and expectation setting. For almost a century, ‘traditional’ women’s health companies have been pigeonholing us.
By choosing to name one tampon size ‘regular’, these companies set a precedent for what is now an industry that feeds off women thinking they’re ‘irregular’. Society thrives off us trying to be something else - it makes for great sales. We say to hell with that.
You’re awesome as you are. By combining super and regular, we’re leaning into those labels and redefining them, flipping archaic perceptions on their heads and encouraging women and girls to be unapologetically themselves.
We’re just a bunch of super regular women, doing super regular things.
Day-to-day meanings
We know that some of the most frustrating symptoms of PMDD and PMS are the fluctuating moods, fireballs of anger, and almost instant irritability that come over us. They shift us into a different state of mind, a different personality.
One that doesn’t feel like us. So, we created a product that works in many different areas of the body to help keep our systems steady. It helps bring us back from the lowest lows, restoring our rhythm, so we can feel ourselves 24/7, every day of the cycle.
Limelight FAQs
Do I have to suffer from PMDD to take part?
No! The LimeLight movement is for everyone. Those who experience PMDD, their loved ones, and anyone who wants to support better awareness and recognition of the condition.
I’m a man - how do I get involved?
You can paint your ring fingernail lime green or wear a LimeLight pin badge to show your support. You can do this throughout April for PMDD Awareness Month and one week every month to recognise the cyclical nature of PMDD. You might also choose to sync your participation with a partner, friend, or family member’s luteal phase, a powerful way to acknowledge and honor their experience.
Do I just wear it during my PMS or PMDD phase?
PMDD impacts people for up to two weeks every month, so we encourage wearing the lime green nail (or pin) throughout your luteal phase. However, during April (PMDD Awareness Month), you can wear it at any time to maximise visibility and awareness.
What if I can’t wear nail varnish?
No problem! You can wear a LimeLight pin badge instead - perfect for workplaces where nail polish isn’t allowed (like the NHS, food service, or manual jobs). The pin is a subtle but powerful way to show support.
Why the ring finger?
The ring finger symbolises commitment. Just like a ring represents love and dedication, the LimeLight nail or pin represents commitment to PMDD awareness and change.
How long do I wear it for?
April (PMDD Awareness Month): Anytime throughout the month.Every Month: During the luteal phase (10-14 days before your period), to reflect the duration of PMDD symptoms.
Can I do something more than just painting a nail?
Absolutely! Here are more ways to take action:
💚 Share your story: post on social media using #PMDDLimeLight.
💚 Educate others: talk to friends, family, and colleagues about PMDD.
💚 Donate: purchase a LimeLight pin, nail polish, or make a direct donation to The PMDD Project, supporting advocacy and research.
💚 Challenge others: nominate three friends to join the movement.
What’s the point of this campaign? Does it actually help?
Yes! Visibility changes everything. PMDD is under-researched, underfunded, and often misdiagnosed. The more people see it, hear about it, and talk about it, the harder it becomes to ignore.
Movements like Movember (men’s health) and the pink ribbon (breast cancer) started small but led to huge improvements in research, funding, and awareness. LimeLight is doing the same for PMDD.
How do I get a LimeLight pin or nail polish?
You can purchase them from the Evelyn website, with 100% of proceeds donated to The PMDD Project, a charity dedicated to improving PMDD awareness, research, and support.
Is this just for women?
No! PMDD affects anyone with a menstrual cycle, including trans and non-binary people. And even if you don’t experience PMDD yourself, you probably know someone who does. The more people who participate - regardless of gender or lived experience - the bigger the impact.
What if I forget to do it during my luteal phase?
No worries! This movement is about raising awareness whenever you can. The most important thing is participation, whether it’s a week, a day, or even just one post.
Can I start a LimeLight event in my workplace or community?
Yes! We love this. You could:
💚 Organise a LimeLight nail-painting session.
💚 Hold a “LimeLight Day” where everyone wears a pin or paints a nail.
💚 Work with your company or school to raise awareness and funds for PMDD.
